The Halo Programme, from local angel investment organisation, Anglia Capital Group, aims to support locally based companies at the very start of their business journey to enable them to become ready to pitch for investment.
Delivered by industry experts, this course goes into detail about every aspect needed before approaching angel investors for growth capital.

Over this time we have seen many companies pitch their businesses to our investor members. There are some fantastic companies located in East Anglia and the start-up ecosystem is bursting with talent, but we do often see that some of these founders need support to enable them to be ready to pitch to investors. There is so much more, beyond the pitch, that founders need to have in place and this is where the Halo Programme comes in. The programme will be split into a number of workshops and will be delivered over 9 weeks by real investors, practising lawyers, accountants, and professionals. The key topics covered will include:
· Introduction to angel investment
· Understanding your marketplace
· Financial forecasting and valuing your business
· Shareholder legal documents demystified
· Pitch perfection
· Sector-specific case studies and lessons learned by real entrepreneurs
The final session will see the participants pitch in front of real Angel Investors for practical feedback. At the end of the programme, all participants will receive a completion pack with useful materials and content as well as personalised feedback on their pitch from real Angel Investors. Participants will have access to mentors throughout the duration of the programme.
